I am brand new to the curly girl method and am needing guidance. The naturallycurl.com quiz says I have 3A curls and the Curly girl handbook says I have Botticelli curls. My hair is not real thick, more on the fine side so if the product is thick it easily looks crunchy or stringy. I have started co-wash with my conditioner and no have clean hair the looks greasy and curly are stringy and not well defined. I am now only co-washing with conditioner and my clean hair now looks greasy and stringy. With so many products I do not know where to begin!

If it begins to look a little stringy then use one styling product such as NoFrizz10 guar gum gel. This product contains no oil and is not sticky. It will lock down frizz and clump the curls will be full, bouncy, and shiny. curly girl method the best thing is to use a lightweight Co wash that is designed for the scalp, such as NoFrizz10 Concentrated Conditioner. I suggest to rinse it out after Co washing and then just let hair go and see how it reacts. It may be all that you need depending on how fine your hair is. A co wash will always be more moisturizing then even an alcohol-free shampoo. If as your hair dries it begins to frizz then add a little leave-in conditioner.
