Distilled water is purified water made by steaming the water to remove contaminants and minerals from tap water. It has a PH of about 4.5-5 which is close to the skin’s natural PH. It is used in many skin and hair products. We never add EDTA because in some studies they found EDTA Salts to be toxic to laboratory animals.
