USES: As you would any hair mousse to condition, style, or to refresh. You'll find the best results when used on wet hair or if hair is made fully wet by the product, then smoothed and shaped.

Also, may be used to cleanse & tone the face, as a gentle baby wash, hand wash, or as a no-rinse scalp cleanser.

Shake before each use. 

*Start small by applying just a couple of pumps to wet hair. See how it does.

*Athena's favorite routine is to use after washing and using a rinse out conditioner.  Then she generously applies Essential Slip Primer, then finally coats a layer of mousse all over and scrunches in.

 

For use as an ALL-IN-ONE on wash day try the following:

Start by doing a water-only wash of the scalp, massaging and rinsing the scalp very well. Next, pump foam in little bursts directly at the scalp all around the head. Scrub again to cleanse and provide anti-bacterial properties to the scalp. Rinse again to fully cleanse. Use on wet hair or gently squeeze excess water out of hair. Finally, apply a couple of generous handfulls of mousse throughout all of the hair. Be sure to detangle, smooth, and clump curls then scrunch and dry. For extra hold, definition, and curl shrinkage apply just a little more to damp or dry hair, then diffuse. This ONE PRODUCT WASH DAY all-in-one option provides light weight moisture to the hair, yet great volume and control for all hair types. (Contains gentle surfactants natural and naturally derived.)

 

Skip the dry shampoo on refresh day and use as a no-rinse scalp pick me up! 

 

Cleanse, tone, and refresh. The surfactant ingredients are low enough in percentage that it is gentle enough to leave on even baby's skin, scalp, and hair. Please avoid the eyes, obviously.

Owner and Creator Athena Padilla loves to use this as a morning facial cleanser. Just wipe on with a cotton pad then let air dry. No rinsing necessary. 

It also works great to perk up the scalp. A great alternative to caking on a dry shampoo. Just massage into the scalp. No rinsing needed. This will tie you over untill your next wash day. On your full wash day please use NoFrizz10 Shampoo or Cream Cleansers.

 

*If foam comes out liquidy or is hard to pump, then shake bottle and clear pump.

Believe it or not, just a couple drops of the gentle cleansing ingredient cocoglucoside is included in our Foaming Mousse. It will not dry out your hair and it will not leave your hair feeling sticky. And we never use drying alcohol or sulfates of course! With a high ratio of plant hydrosols in our mousse your hair will be smooth, soft, bouncy, and full of shine. 

The simple answer is YES. Now, could you never use another product ever again? No, you'll ocassionally need a shampoo and some deep conditioner, but it can definitely get you by on quick days, when you dont have time to jump in the shower, or durring certain seasons, and as the perfect styler. Dilute with 6 parts water to cleanse. Rinse, Then apply just a little of the concentrated formula to wet hair as a leave-in, scrunch and dry. For extra hold, definition, and curl shrinkage apply just a little to damp or dry hair, then diffuse. This ONE PRODUCT WASH DAY all-in-one option offers a medium level of moisture and wonderful volume for all hair types! Contains natural surfactant - no soap.

 

3. Orange Blossom Foaming Mousse with Oat & Rose Milk

Start by doing a water-only wash of the scalp, massaging and rinsing the scalp very well. Next, pump foam in little bursts directly at the scalp all around the head. Scrub again to cleanse and provide anti-bacterial properties to the scalp. Rinse again to cleanse fully. Gently squeeze excess water out of hair. BEST BY DURATION :

Some sedimentation is normal. Shake before use.

This item has a shelf life of up to 2 years on the shelf or 3 years if refridgerated, but actual time per item will vary depending on inventory and shipment.

Product labels include the Batch # and a Best By Date.

Batch # example : "122" which means January 2022.

Best By Date example: "123" which means January 2023.

(See actual product label for actual batch info.)

(If refrigerated, Best By Date may be prolonged.)

Keep them out of the sunlight, keep the lids on, do not let water drip inside them, only put clean hands inside, keep containers clean.

We can not claim actual shelf life since we do not perform laboratory shelf life tests and even Best By Dates are approximate. Use at your own discretion.  Rest assured however, prepared products are guaranteed to arrive in good condition and should not change in color, smell, or consistency for at least 30 days from arrival date. If our prepared products do have unusual changes within 30 days of arrival date, we will replace them for you at no extra cost.

AT HOME CUSTOMIZING

You may choose to customize your routine at home by adding your favorite oil , adding our Protein Drops, adding fresh aloe, layering with our Hard Hold Carbomer Gel, or adding honey and sugar . This way you can get a number of different combinations of options to try at home depending on what you need for the day. Just mix in your HAND or a small bowl PER USE at home. If custom ingredients need to be added into an entire bottle, then contact us or see details below to ensure shelf life safety.

 

PARTIAL CUSTOMIZATIONS/SUBSTITUTIONS

We no longer offer partial customization on this item.

Our Mousse Formula is available in either a foaming pump bottle or a fine mist spray bottle. Get the same great affect on the hair and crackling sound of a mousse, but in a convenient spray.  Whether you want it to spray on the face, or to refresh the hair, or to act as a great hairspray, you get to choose. It's great either way!
